"We did it right", Governor Ron DeSantis said of the 2020 election in Florida. Now, DeSantis and his Republican allies in the Florida Legislature want to make it more difficult to vote by mail in Florida.
Introduced by Senator Dennis Baxley (R-Ocala), Senate Bill 90 seeks to limit vote-by-mail in three ways:
- Restricting vote-by-mail applications to one election cycle, instead of two
- Banning the use of drop boxes for vote-by-mail ballots
- Prohibiting anyone other than an immediate family member from helping a voter return a mail-in ballot
SB90 would create
unnecessary barriers to make it more difficult for Floridians to cast their ballots by mail. Sign the petition and tell Florida Legislators to vote NO on Senate Bill 90.
